If you could live forever, would you?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 26, 2009:
I do not want to live forever. I only want to live perhaps a little above average for my culture and place, somewhere between 80-100 years. I'd love to witness all that can happen in a century, but then I want to learn what death is. I already have a belief in some kind of of afterlife, even if its just another turn on this earth. I want to know what is next. I also don't want to outlive those I love. I will have to say goodbye to my grandparents and parents and probably my spouse, and I don't want to add my own children and grandchildren to that list.
I want as much time as I am given.
